About the Scholarships & Awards
The Middle Atlantic District of the non-profit Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), a leading district in sports in the United States, is proud to sponsor its Middle Atlantic District Scholarship and Award Programs. The Middle Atlantic District grants scholarships and awards totaling more than $25,000, ranging in size from $1000-$5000.
With the rising cost of post-secondary education and the decreasing availability of funding sources, supplemental financial aid has become critical for our member athletes. The mission of the Middle Atlantic District Scholarship program is to aid AAU member athletes in achieving their academic dreams and in recognizing them as valued citizens of our communities. The main goal of the Scholarship Program is to raise awareness among our District's youth of the critical role that AAU Athletics plays in the building of American youth.
Our volunteer award program is a way for us to recognize those valued coach and non-coach volunteers, who have given so much to our members.
